Nihilism as a frame. Encounter as an attempt
When does the body act: when is it seen, shaped, used?
Movement emerges between submission and suffering.
Working with somatic practice and anatomical imagination to shift perception and confront the audience directly.
Smoke. Light. Darkness.
An immersive world between club and back alley.
Body, spectator, space — inseparable
restiance softens. everything carries, everything pulls.

ZAHND is a performance and visual studio, founded and helmed by Elia Zahnd.
Elia Zahnd is a dancer, choreographer and director, but moreover he is a multifaceted artist who uses movement, space and image as material. His practice expands beyond the stage, blending contemporary dance with visual arts, performance and pop culture.
The studio is dedicated to developing and producing concepts that cross disciplines and formats. Each work is conceived as a sharp and minimal narrative, balancing the physicality of the body with a broader cultural language.
Since its inception ZAHND explores diverse mediums, from live performance to installation, film and collaborations with other artists. Each project pushes towards a radical and contemporary expression. This vision resonates across theatre, fashion, music and the wider cultural landscape.
